We are quarantined & he is desperate! Join us on this wild ride of cutting my husband Grant’s hair at home! All of the barber shops & hair salons have been closed for over a month (hello social distancing & stay at home orders) so we decided to take matters into our own hands. Grant was finally desperate enough that he let me have full reign to cut/fade/trim/buzz his hair! I was super shocked at how it turned out and so was he! 

Here’s what I did:

1. Start with guard #4 & trim from base of neck up to where the skull starts to curve
2. Use guard #2 to buzz from base of neck up to about 1-2 inches down from where you stopped the #4 guard
3. Use guard #3 to fade the lines between the 2 & 4 guard
4. Use scissors to trim about 1/4″ off of everywhere on the long portion of the top of his hair
5. Go around with the trimmer without a guard to make sure you have a straight line at the base of the hair/neck
