I show you how to properly wash your dirty makeup brushes without stripping or harming them. You want to use a gentle cleanser like baby shampoo (my favorite is linked below). You want to try to avoid getting too much water into the handle of your brush because it can cause the shaft to warp. I like to use the brush washer shown in the video, but you definitely don’t need this. The best tool to get your brushes clean is your hands! I recommend washing your brushes once a week, but once every couple of weeks can works as well. I try to wash my face brushes more frequently so that I’m not introducing bacteria onto my face every time I use them so I can avoid extra breakouts. I then try to dry my brushes with the handles elevated so all of the moisture drains out toward the bristles instead of the handle. Do you have any makeup brush washing tips & tricks?
